______________________________________________________________________ Jada's story... It was a cold rainy day and I had taken refuge in a drainage pipe near the baseball stadium at Clemson University. Suddenly I was grabbed by a 2 legged creature! I put up a gallant fight, lots of hissing and spitting, but being only 4 weeks old I was no match for the big man. Fast forward 3 weeks later. I'm now in a foster home and it didn't take me long to realize that being indoor where it's warm and dry with 2 and 4 legged creatures is a good thing! Now I just need to find a home of my own. I am 5 months old, UTD on shots (ouch!) and have been dewormed and spayed (I'm pretty sure that's the word they used but whatever). If you are interested in meeting me, please emailpickenscounty@ccaweb.org and my admin will reply asap! (12.11) Jada's foster mother describes her as independent, loves to play with toys and other cats, has absolutely no fear of dogs and will cuddle when she wants to cuddle.
UPDATE ON ANNIE - SAFE AND ON HER WAY TO HER NEW HOME! Meet Little Orphan Annie... Along with four litter mates, Annie was left in a box on the side of the road. Fortunately they were found before getting out of the box. All but Annie have been placed. We believe Annie is about 9 weeks old and a golden/lab mix with beautiful greenish eyes. She has started vaccinations and been dewormed which will allow her to become a healthy, bouncy puppy.
