The following adoptables are in local foster care. Since the dogs and cats are sponsored by CCA, an adoption application must be filled out and an adoption fee paid. Fees will range from $50 to $100 and cover: vaccinations, deworming, current on flea treatment, current on heart worm prevention and spay/neuter.

Collecting adoption fees allows us to be able to save the next animal in need.

Please email pickenscounty@ccaweb.org if you would like to meet one of these wonderful, adorable adoptables and we'll get the ball rolling! Those animals listed with any other contact information may not be subject to adoption fees. Please inquire.

Jada's story...

It was a cold rainy day and I had taken refuge in a drainage pipe near the baseball stadium at Clemson University. Suddenly I was grabbed by a 2 legged creature! I put up a gallant fight, lots of hissing and spitting, but being only 4 weeks old I was no match for the big man. Fast forward 3 weeks later. I'm now in a foster home and it didn't take me long to realize that being indoor where it's warm and dry with 2 and 4 legged creatures is a good thing! Now I just need to find a home of my own. I am 5 months old, UTD on shots (ouch!) and have been dewormed and spayed (I'm pretty sure that's the word they used but whatever). If you are interested in meeting me, please emailpickenscounty@ccaweb.org and my admin will reply asap! (12.11)

Jada's foster mother describes her as independent, loves to play with toys and other cats, has absolutely no fear of dogs and will cuddle when she wants to cuddle.

Puppy in need of home...

Meet Pancho! He is approximately 5 months old and was found wandering. He's been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks. He's very, very high energy and will need a fenced yard to be safe. He LOVES torun and play, gets along well with all other dogs and is learning not to chase a cat. He's also learning how to sit, stay and walk on leash. If you are interested in learning more about Pancho, please email pickenscounty@ccaweb.org

UPDATE ON ANNIE - SAFE AND ON HER WAY TO HER NEW HOME!

Meet Little Orphan Annie...

Along with four litter mates, Annie was left in a box on the side of the road. Fortunately they were found before getting out of the box. All but Annie have been placed. We believe Annie is about 9 weeks old and a golden/lab mix with beautiful greenish eyes. She has started vaccinations and been dewormed which will allow her to become a healthy, bouncy puppy.
